Ted A. Connor brings years of thorough and distinguished civil litigation experience to Kring & Chung, LLP. Although he has substantial transactional experience, Mr. Connor's forte is the litigation and trial of complex construction and business disputes. He has represented hundreds of businesses and individuals in a variety of complex disputes from severe personal injuries to property damage claims in excess of $10 million.

Born in Joliet, Illinois, Mr. Connor graduated at the top of his class at Joliet Catholic High School in Illinois where he lettered on the 1979 State Championship football team and learned to fly general aviation aircraft. He went on to the University of Notre Dame, where he made Dean's List, completed the London Government Program and graduated with a B.A. in Government Studies in 1984.

Mr. Connor graduated from the University of San Diego in May 1987, with commendations on Moot Court competitions while clerking for a firm in Pacific Beach, California. Mr. Connor was admitted to practice in California in 1987 and was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1998.

After graduation, Mr. Connor immediately joined a commercial real estate litigation practice, and his experience now includes numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations in business litigation, real estate disputes, title insurance claims, complex construction defect claims, product liability claims, insurance bad faith claims, the defense of securities fraud claims, and the defense and prosecution of personal injury actions. The greatest part of Mr. Connor's practice has involved the defense of complex civil actions at the request of insurers.

Mr. Connor spent the first nine years of his practice in San Diego and La Jolla. He relocated to Orange County to open and manage a new law office in 1996. Mr. Connor joined Kring & Chung in 1999 and maintains his diverse practice with the firm.

Mr. Connor is deeply involved in community outreach efforts, having been recognized as Attorney of the Year and Outstanding Match of the Year for his work with Juvenile Hall parolees. He has also served as president and director of the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce in San Diego, California.
