Elysian M. Kurnik is Of Counsel to the firm. She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate litigation and land use law. Ms. Kurnik's experience includes easement disputes, zoning and permit issues, commercial real estate lease matters, unlawful detainer, and foreclosure-related issues.

Prior to becoming an attorney , Ms. Kurnik enjoyed a successful career as a project manager in the field of land use and environmental planning. Working on several large-scale development projects throughout southern California, her responsibilities ranged from entitlement processing to writing Master Plans and Specific Plans to preparing CEQA-compliant documents. She continues to draw from this experience to help her achieve success for her clients in the legal field.

Ms. Kurnik received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles, and then earned her Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington. Ms. Kurnik graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law in 2013 where she had been a recipient of its prestigious Trustees' Scholarship. While there, Ms. Kurnik earned several academic honors and served as an associate editor for CWSL's Law Review.
