Carson Palmer Open July 18th at Monarch Beach Golf Links

Event will Benefit the Hillview Acres Children's Home

IRVINE, CA - May 16, 2005

The second annual Carson Palmer Open golf tournament, benefiting the Hillview Acres Children's Home for abused and neglected children, will be held on July 18th at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, Calif.

The event will feature celebrity athletes and USC friends, as well as a post-tournament dinner, “Carson's Cookout” that will include an awards ceremony and auction.

Joining Palmer, USC's 2002 Heisman Trophy winner, who now starts at quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, will be a number of current and former pro athletes. They include A.J. Feeley of the Miami Dolphins, John Lynch of the Denver Broncos and former Trojans Sam Cunningham, Matt Cassel, John Jackson and John Allred. Former USC and Boston Red Sox outfielder Fred Lynn will also participate.
