
Arie
L. Spangler was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in San
Diego, California.
She graduated from Pepperdine University in 1998 with a B.A.
in Journalism and Political Science. While at Pepperdine, Ms.
Spangler was an editor of the student newspaper, studied in
Florence, Italy and interned for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer.
After graduating from Pepperdine, Ms. Spangler pursued a career
in public relations at Stoorza, Ziegaus & Metzger in Los
Angeles and The Barry Group in Santa Monica.
Ms. Spangler received her J.D. from the University of San Diego
School of Law in 2003 and was admitted to the California Bar
in December of the same year. While in law school, Ms. Spangler
studied at the USD Institute of International and Comparative
Law in Barcelona, Spain, and London, England. As a law student,
she clerked for Callahan, McCune & Willis in San Diego.
In 2004, Ms. Spangler joined Wilson, Kenna & Borys in Los
Angeles, where she practiced errors & omissions insurance
defense, commercial and personal injury litigation.
Ms. Spangler joined Kring & Chung, LLP in 2004, where her practice
focuses on construction defect litigation. She is a member
of the San Diego County Bar Association.
