Alyssa Andersen, originally from San Diego, obtained her B.A. in Political Science from San Diego State University. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in May of 2005. In December of that year, she was admitted to the State Bar of California, at which time she joined a small Los Angeles firm practicing primarily in personal injury defense.

Ms. Andersen joined Kring & Chung in January 2006, where her practice initially focused on fraud, breach of contract, and construction defect litigation for public school district clients.  That work involved addressing issues that included public contracting, energy savings contracts, public school construction guidelines, and interaction with the California Division of State Architect.

Ms. Andersen currently handles matters including construction defect, labor and employment, and intellectual property claims.  Her employment practice involves work for both employees and employers, in pre-litigation negotiation and litigation of claims involving contractual disputes, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, and discrimination and harassment.  Her intellectual property practice includes litigation regarding copyright, trademark, and trade dress infringement, as well as misappropriation of trade secrets.
