David Ramirez, a partner, joined Kring & Chung, LLP in 2005. His practice is focused primarily on representing clients in complex litigation, including construction defects, insurance law, property disputes, and product liability, both individual suppliers & manufacturers either individually or in related class actions. He is also highly knowledgeable about general liability issues, indemnity issues and insurance issues.

Mr. Ramirez frequently represents high exposure subcontractors, material manufacturers & suppliers as well as developers in complex construction defect throughout the Southern California region. His clients have included major residential & commercial developers, general contractors and subtrades. He has been very successful at using court procedure efficiently to limit the cost and duration of litigation. Working closely with his clients, paying attention to details, attorney Ramirez is often able to find innovative yet economical solutions to complex matters.

Attorney Ramirez's services are often sought by insurers, including Unigard Insurance Company, Safeco/American States Insurance Companies, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and American Safety Insurance Company. He also has represented claims/risk managers, including Riverstone Claims Management and Cornerstone Risk Management. Mr. Ramirez also works with trade groups to address insurance and contractual indemnity issues during the contract negotiation stages.

Mr. Ramirez was admitted to the California Bar in 1988. He holds a B.A. from San Diego State University and a J.D. from University of San Diego. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and San Diego Defense Lawyers.
