Attorney Han Joo Kim is a graduate of University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received his Bachelor's degree (June 1990) in Linguistics. While working full-time at law firms and at a community service agency, he studied law at Simon Greenleaf School of Law (now Trinity Law School) and received his Juris Doctorate degree (June 1995).
Attorney Kim is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the U.S. District Court, Central District. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. His legal experience include work in the areas of business law, personal injury, immigration and family law at various law firms, before establishing his own office in October of 1997. Attorney Kim has also been a volunteer for the California Bar Association, Korean American Bar Association of Southern California, Orange County Korean American Bar Association, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and the Asian Pacific American Legal Center. Attorney Kim is fluent in the Korean language.
For over 14 years, Attorney Kim has limited his practice to immigration law and has successfully handled many complex immigration cases. Attorney Kim has been sought as legal expert in the immigration law by the Korean media, including Korea Times and Korea Central Daily. He has made appearances as a legal consultant for the Korean TV and radio stations, and has been a regular legal columnist for the major Korean newspapers. He has also taught immigration law at various seminars.
