Kring & Chung Newport Beach Triathlon Returns!

Celebrating 30 Years!

What:   Kring & Chung Newport Beach Triathlon

Where: Newport Dunes, Newport Back Bay
When:  Sunday, April 20, 2008

Race:    First Wave starts at 6:45 am

             SWIM:  1/2 mile. Flat water swim in the Back Bay of Newport Beach.
             CYCLE: 15 miles. Scenic course through Back Bay Drive and Eastbluff Drive.
             RUN:    3.1 miles. Fast and scenic out-and-back course.

The proceeds of this event will benefit the UCI Rowing Teams. The race consists of a half-mile swim in the Newport Beach Back Bay, a 15-mile cycle course around Fashion Island, and a 5K run along the Back Bay.

The 2nd Annual Carson Palmer Open took place Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, Califonia. This sold out event featured famous USC faces including Carson Palmer, Pete Carroll, Fred Lynn, Matt Cassel, and John Allred. NFL stars Ahman Green and Rudi Johnson were also some of the celebrity particpants that came

together to support Hillview Acres Children's Home.
