John
R. Blakely is the managing partner of Kring & Chung's Sacramento and Ontario offices and has nearly two decades of business management and litigation experience. Mr. Blakely practices and supervises the offices' multi-party litigation, business litigation, estate planning, and probate practices.
Mr. Blakely's practical experience comes from managing a multi-million dollar construction company for over seven years that included supervising the company's accounting, payroll, insurance and job cost departments. This experience is coupled
with an extensive business and legal education that Mr.
Blakely received when he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration
as well as his Masters degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
This comprehensive business finance education was further enhanced when Mr. Blakely
earned his Juris Doctorate degree with an emphasis in taxation.
Mr. Blakely’s unique combination of business education and practical managerial
experience enables comprehensive counseling to the firm’s business clients. In addition,
Mr. Blakely’s finance and taxation background provides the basis for counseling business
and personal clients in the areas of wills, trusts, estate management, probate, and
business succession.
Mr. Blakely joined the Irvine office of Kring & Chung
in 2000 as an associate attorney and was transferred in 2002 to lead the firm’s Ontario branch office. On January
1, 2003, Mr. Blakely was named a partner of the firm and the
managing partner of the firm’s Ontario office. In June 2003, Mr. Blakely was named managing partner of the firm's Sacramento office. The Sacramento office handles a wide variety of litigation matters throughout Northern California.
