Joanna
L. Darvish attended Southern Nazarene University in Bethany,
Oklahoma, where she received a Bachelor or Arts degree in Mass
Communication/Journalism and a Master of Arts degree in Speech
Communication. In 1991, she was a graduate assistant in the
Speech Department at Southern Nazarene University, teaching
college-level public speaking and interpersonal communication
courses.
Ms. Darvish attended California Western School of Law where
she was a member/writer of the California Western Law Review
and International Law Journal. She was also awarded the Academic
Achievement Award for her accomplishments in Real Property
Finance. While in law school, Ms. Darvish clerked in the General
Counsel office of the United Service Automobile Association
(USAA) specializing in ERISA issues. In the Spring of 2001,
Ms. Darvish served as a certified legal intern for the San
Diego City Attorney’s Office, Domestic Violence Unit.
Ms. Darvish received her Juris Doctorate in 2001, having been
named to the Dean’s List.
Ms. Darvish is a member of the California State Bar and the
California Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Darvish joined Kring & Chung
in 2001 and handles litigation matters focusing on contract
law, construction defect and insurance defense.
