David
Ramirez, a partner, joins Kring & Chung, LLP in 2005. His
practice is focused primarily on defending clients in complex
litigation, including product liability, construction defect,
insurance law, and related class actions. He is also highly
knowledgeable about general liability defenses and creditors'
rights in bankruptcy.
Mr. Ramirez frequently represents high exposure subcontractors
and developers in complex construction defect throughout the
Southern California region. His clients have included major
residential developers and contractors. He has been very successful
at using court procedure efficiently to limit the cost and
duration of litigation. Working closely with his clients, paying
attention to details, attorney Ramirez is often able to find
innovative yet economical solutions to complex matters.
Attorney Ramirez's services are often sought by insurers,
including as Unigard Insurance Company, Safeco/American States
Insurance Companies, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and
Golden Eagle Insurance Company. He also has represented claims/risk
managers, including Riverstone Claims Management and Cornerstone
Risk Management.
Mr. Ramirez was admitted to the California Bar in 1988. He
holds a B.A. from San Diego State University and a J.D. from
University of San Diego. He is a member of the San Diego Bar
Association and San Diego Defense Lawyers.
