Richard C. Hatem was born in Glendale, California and attended the University of California, Irvine where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1992. He then attended the University of San Diego School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree in 1996.
Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Hatem took a position with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office. In 1998, Mr. Hatem joined the law firm of Lake & Mougin, LLP, where he handled cases consisting of general civil litigation including construction defect, commercial, personal injury, and nuisance litigation. Joining Kring & Chung, LLP in 2001, and again in 2008, Mr. Hatem has continued to handle all phases of civil litigation work, including depositions, mediations, and all pre-trial motions and submissions. Mr. Hatem is currently a member of the State Bar of California and the Central District of the Unites States District Court.
