Suzanne M. Rehmani is an Of Counsel with Kring & Chung, LLP. She has more than twenty years of experience practicing law including litigating cases and has also handled numerous cases at the appellate level. She has an LLM in Taxation and is a licensed California real estate broker and notary. She has extensive experience in numerous areas of law including probate, trusts, financial elder abuse, conservatorships, trust litigation, probate litigation as well as transactional, business, real estate transfers, franchise and franchise litigation and corporate law. Franchise clients have included numerous massage franchises, restaurants, duct cleaning franchise, juice franchises, sandwich franchises and many others. She also guides clients on business entity formation and tax-related issues, including corporations, limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships, business entity planning, real estate transactions, franchise agreements, secured transactions, property ownership planning agreements and transactional agreements, including buy/sell agreements and securities issuances.
In addition to her significant transactional experience, Ms. Rehmani has extensive experience in litigation, with an emphasis on trust, probate, financial elder abuse, conservatorships, business, real estate, franchise and general civil litigation. She also has extensive experience in the area of basic and complex estate planning drafting, including wills, trusts, probate, trust and estate administration matters, life insurance trusts, special needs trusts, family limited partnerships, elder law, guardianships and conservatorships and the planning and advising on buy-outs and succession of small and family-owned businesses. In addition, she also has a special passion in assisting the elderly client and their families who have been the victim of financial elder abuse.
Clients have included private trustees, professional trustees, hotels, supermarkets, software companies, retailers, start-ups, healthcare firms, private equity firms, developers, franchisors, franchisees and commercial landlords. She also regularly helps individuals structure their business entities and in counseling business owners to be able to qualify for the appropriate government certification contracting for minority, women and veteran owned small businesses for government contracting at the state and federal levels.
Ms. Rehmani was previously a partner with Kring & Chung, LLP, Irvine, CA which she joined in 1999. She has been an attorney since 1992, practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate, conservatorships, financial elder abuse, civil litigation, business, corporate, franchise, transactional and entity formation. Ms. Rehmani has an LLM in Taxation from Chapman University School of Law. Ms. Rehmani was a journalism major at the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Cal State Fullerton in 1988.
