Gregory W. Patterson

Gregory W. Patterson is Of Counsel in our Irvine, California office.  Since 2008, Mr. Patterson has represented companies and individuals in virtually all aspects of general business and civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. Mr. Patterson regularly asserts or defends claims for breach of contract, fraud, common counts, personal guarantees, and breach of fiduciary duty. Mr. Patterson has extensive experience in real property litigation, having prosecuted or defended over one hundred such matters in various contexts such as quiet title, fraud and nondisclosure, equitable subrogation, lien priority disputes between banks or other investors, and boundary and easement disputes. Mr. Patterson routinely represents businesses sued in the employment context - such as wage and hour claims, sexual harassment, or misclassification of employees. Mr. Patterson has substantial experience in defending negligence claims - such as ordinary negligence, premises liability, and products liability. Mr. Patterson has also successfully asserted intellectual property claims in federal court.

 

Mr. Patterson has substantial trial and appellate experience, having appeared in court on hundreds of occasions. Mr. Patterson has been awarded a Special Commendation from the International Academy of Trial Lawyers - a rare honor given to those demonstrating unusual skill in the field of trial advocacy.
